Story March 16the afternoon is hot, typical for august weather. luckily at the top of the foothill you can see the dark clouds starting to roll in, always an uplifting sight. holding hands, we continue to the near top of the foothill and esatblish a camp where we can rest and shelter ourselves from the coming thunderstorm; we can already hear the distant rumble. we pitch the tent and you put everything in while i grab some wood and put it wrapped under a tarp to keep it dry. we eat something fast that doesnt need cooking, just some granola bars and stuff like that, with pop tarts as dessert we go out to see the storm and watch the lightninStory March 16
